Hydraulic Workover Services
Tecon currently owns two (2) Hydraulic Workover Units, which are engaged in active snubbing operations for SPDC. The first 225K Unit commissioned in October 1999 is named NIGERBLOSSOM 1. It has a pull capacity of 225,000 pounds and a maximum snub capacity of 112,500 pounds.
A second 460K Unit has been commissioned and deployed for snubbing operations for SPDC Utorogu Gas Well. This unit, which has potential maximum, pull capacity of 460,000 pounds and maximum snub capacity of 230,000 pounds, is named TECONHYDRASTAR II. It is equipped with a power rotary table with maximum torque of 20,000 ft/lbs.
